Responsibilities

  • Manage the ongoing development of the organisation’s website, updating and creating or commissioning site content
  • Ensure that web content is well-structured, easy to find and meets the needs of its users, organising user testing and market research projects where required
  • Conduct content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information
  • Ensure full compliance on the website with all laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create website landing pages and execute campaigns
  • Improve the quality and quantity of website traffic using SEO techniques
  • Manage our social media accounts, implementing strategies and tactics (including paid social media advertising) that grow our audiences, engage and retain them and help nurture positive advocates and promoters
  • Develop and execute the social media content plan, creating platform specific content that is informative and appealing and maintaining a posting schedule
  • Monitor social media activity and brand mentions, supervising all aspects of social media interaction between audiences, and ensure a positive customer service experience
  • Measure and report performance of all website and social media activity, defining the most important KPIs, measuring the success of every campaign and using insights to drive continuous improvement
  • Keep up to date on current digital marketing strategies, technology and best practice

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar digital marketing role
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social media best practices
  • Strong understanding of managing business listings and employee sites such as LinkedIn Life, Google Business Profile and Glassdoor
  • Extensive use of social media marketing tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite and HubSpot
  • Sound understanding and experience of using digital marketing technology eg. Website tracking tools (Google analytics, Hotjar), SEO tools and social media monitoring tools
  • Experienced with one or more website CMS (e.g. drupal, wordpress, umbraco); a working knowledge or understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints would be advantageous
