Summary of Role:
The Dealer Operations Specialist role suits a self-motivated, results-oriented individual who is comfortable in an entrepreneurial culture within a big company. The ideal candidate is capable and interested in forming and implementing business processes and supporting the dealers in all aspects of doing business with SunPower.  To succeed in this role, the candidate will possess a combination of detail-oriented execution skills and the ability to convince external and internal stakeholders of the validity of the approach.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Dealer Operations Specialist will advocate for dealers when interfacing internally with invoice compliance, channel management, supply chain, originations, order to cash, and other cross-functional teams.  
  • Dealer Operations Specialist will actively solicit feedback to help improve the partnership.  This role includes ongoing training on SunPower operational processes to ensure dealers understand what is to be submitted to collect dealer fees, how to place orders and how to process return material authorizations.  They will educate them on SunPower policies with financiers that may result in credit expirations, notice to proceed violations, and financier deadlines, among other things.  
  • Weekly Business Review with Dealers – Dealer Operations Manager is given a bottom’s up forecast of contracts SunPower expects to recognize revenue for any given quarter.  They report back to internal stakeholders’ dealer intelligence impacting installations and activations, preventing revenue recognition.
  • Lead weekly Regional Group Huddle (RGH) with internal stakeholders to provide status on pending dealer applications, open return material authorizations, aging contracts, cycle time, and open sales orders
  • Establish relationships with Dealers' back-office admin and identify blockages with processes
  • Monitor Dealer Scorecard to ensure cycle time, cancellation rate, and open tier3 cases are within program guidelines
  • Compliance Enforcement – evaluate compliance with dealers not meeting the Service Level Agreements.  Business registration must be kept current with active Contractors License, General Liability, Worker’s Compensation, and Builders' Risk
  • Real-time operational chat support
  • Exception management tracking – proactively monitor sales orders with scheduled ship dates not picked to ensure deliveries are not missed
  • Termination - work with internal operations teams, SunPower Sales Manager, and dealer to recover SPWR assets, minimize SunPower financial exposure, follow through with the termination process and manage the transfer of the installation to another dealer 
  • Reinforce communications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least three years of work experience
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint

  Pay Range : $76,032-$114,048
