About the Role 
We are seeking a highly skilled  NoSQL Engineer with expertise in Cassandra to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database architecture and a proven track record of designing and implementing high-performance NoSQL solutions.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement and maintain large-scale Cassandra databases to support high availability, scalability and performance
Collaborate with cross functional teams to design and implement data models that meet business requirements
Ensure optimal performance and reliability
Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues
Plan and execute database migrations, upgrades and scaling activities
Monitor database performance and capacity utilization, and recommend optimizations as needed
Work closely with development teams to integrate Cassandra solutions into applications and  provide database support 
Collaborate with security teams to ensure data protection and compliance requirements are met

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
At least 5 years of experience with Cassandra database administration and Overall minimum 7 years of experience
Strong understanding of Cassandra data modeling, tuning and performance optimization
Experience with Cassandra clustering, backup and recovery
Knowledge of Linux operating system and shell scripting
Familiarity with Java, Python or other programming languages
Excellent problem solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills
