As a member of the consulting team, the Business Analyst works with customers on assigned projects to identify solutions to functional and minor technical problems.
Where you will make an impact
-Planning, analysis, coordination and support of our Ellucian Banner ERP system and all components of the Unified Digital Campus (UDC) such as: Banner Document Management, DegreeWorks, Workflow, Automic/UC4
-Provide creative technical input to help develop technical solutions to customer problems including but not limited to the design of user interfaces and development of SQL queries
-Executing and completing assigned projects within the time and scope negotiated with the customer
-Evaluating existing business processes and procedures, making recommendations for improvement
Implementing systems and proof of concepts that best fit the customer's needs
-Ensuring customer satisfaction until the project is complete
-Participating in multiple projects simultaneously and being able to adapt
-Improving and maintaining technical documentation along with processes and procedures
-Engaging in continuous learning and adoption of new concepts, technologies and problem-solving techniques
-Facilitate business process review and application prototyping sessions as well as providing business process analysis and insight into best practice methodologies
-Provide quality end-user consultation and support Ellucian’s Banner product suite
-Write documentation that describes installation and operating procedures
-Interact with the customer and other consultants to translate business requirements into functional specifications for conversions, reporting, interfaces, and customizations
-Provides guidance in the development of user-training strategy, and when appropriate, delivers such training
-Evaluate and modify systems, where appropriate, relative to the customer business practices
-Provide customer high-quality business process, change management and other appropriate documentation
-Assists clients in troubleshooting issues within the Ellucian Banner product suite
-Provides direction in developing testing methodology and test scripts for use during upgrades, patch application and customizations
-Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and self-starter attitude

-Experience with Customer service and mitigating escalations
-Experience with Oracle database developer including SQL, PL/SQL, database functions and procedures
-Proven ability to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions
-Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, vendors, and customers
-Self-starter attitude
-Experience using Oracle SQL development environment such as TOAD or SQL Developer.
-Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
-ITIL Knowledge (Incident, Change and Problem Management)

-Must be Fluent in English
