DATA ANALYST
This role is responsible for examining information using data analysis tools and help their teams develop insights and business strategies.
Responsibilities:
Serve as liaison between data team and the client, earning their confidence with reliable follow-through.
Developing reports for clients using multiple data sources and analysis. Monitor and audit data quality. Troubleshooting data issues.
Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
Expertise in cloud data warehouse systems (Snowflake, AzureSQL, AWS).
Providing training for clients or end-users on new reports, dashboards (i.e. PowerBI, Tableau, Excel).
Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing (ETL and ELT processes)
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in mathematics, business, finance or economics.
3-5 years work experience as a data analyst.
Knowledge of programming languages like SQL, Python, .NET.
Proficiency in statistics and data visualization software like Excel and PowerBI to be used for data set analysis and data visualizations.
Understanding of ETL framework and ETL tools.
Good knowledge of data modeling techniques and usage of tools.
Able to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
Able to translate business requirements into technical terms.
Knowledge of creating and applying the most accurate algorithms to datasets in order to find solutions.
Proven track record of handling large data sets and relational databases.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
