Job Summary
The Credit Control Officer is responsible for tracking outstanding invoices for the company and ensuring credit given to customers is monitored and controlled effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To manage the book of debtors accounts and become familiar with these companies, their needs and how to deal with late payments.
- To contact debtors via email, letters, and telephone to ensure payment of outstanding invoices.
- To ensure the company has all the relevant updated information on the debtor and keep a record of all communication with the customer.
- To resolve all clients’ queries
- Update Contracts for customers using the contracts management system.
- Create tickets for terminated customers using the contracts management system.
- To inform the Manager of debtors to be sent to collection agencies and/or solicitors.
- To report to management on outstanding issues and inform them early of potential debtors problems.
- Liaise with liquidators and request write off of all bad debts.

- Confidence to deal with a range of stakeholders.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize a demanding workload.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least five (5) CXC/O'Level passes.
- Experience working on the field and liaising with key stakeholders.
- More than three (3) years experience working in Accounts Receivable.
- Past experience in using Accounts Receivable Software and Microsoft Office Suite will be an asset.
