MISSION & PURPOSE
Reporting to the Communications Manager, the Copywriter is responsible for supporting the creation and communication of all operational marketing content, including PR and external messaging, for Games Global, studios and related brands.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DELIVERABLES
- Build, develop and oversee the successful implementation of an overarching content and communications plan that supports the business objectives, incorporating all related plans and policies including those pertaining to PR and external messaging
- Take ownership of a goal-oriented content marketing pipeline and establish and direct a centralised content calendar for Games Global and related brands, ensuring all messaging is scheduled effectively and optimised for maximum exposure and engagement
- Write compelling copy that engages audiences across various mediums and channels
- Assist the team and business with copywriting, editing and proofing
- Collaborate with the wider Marketing team and business to ensure alignment of marketing campaigns, communications and events
- Support the Communications Manager by working with internal and external stakeholders, devising and executing creative content and PR campaigns
- Support teams across the business with content creation
- Ensure the effective content marketing of new and existing products
- Oversee the content and deliverables on channels/apps, including websites, Dynamics mailers, and Client Zone
- Use the company’s chosen CRM system to reach customers through email campaigns and inform them about new products and events
- Ownership and continued maintenance of distribution lists for external communications
- Deliver effective content and copy in relation to market developments, company news, and the commercial objectives and success of the business to ensure the effective aggregation, alignment, optimisation, protection and communication of content
- Understand the need for market specific communications, working with external translation agencies when required
- Promote a data-driven approach to content marketing, ensuring activities are measured and reported on against clear KPIs
- Experiment with new content formats, platforms, technologies and methodologies
- Identify content and keywords to optimise the company's website search engine results rankings
- Deliver monthly reports on communication activities
