The Job:

Howl is looking for a Recruiter that will act as a strategic partner to the business as we grow our team.

This role is a contract position with the potential of converting to fulltime based on performance and company needs. 

We’re looking for someone who is a generalist recruiter and has experience supporting hyper growth teams. You get a thrill from placing someone in their perfect role. You are someone who understands that recruiting is more than just filling headcount. The ideal candidate understands matrix organizations, will be a partner to hiring managers as they build their orgs and prides themselves on being an ambassador of our business. 

What you’ll do:

  • Own full cycle recruiting processes for roles within the organization across departments; if you have a specialty that great, let's explore what you are strongest at
  • Work alongside our team leads, you’ll gain a deep understanding of our business goals and drivers, and prioritize hiring needs. You will collaborate with each team as you define our way to find, woo, evaluate, and hire amazing talent
  • Craft out of the box job descriptions and make recommendations to improve existing ones.

Requirements

  • Experience at growing tech company
  • You’ve recruited for multiple departments and have experience with high volume
  • Experience working with ATS like Greenhouse or Lever 
  • Intellectual horsepower: You want to understand an org not just “fill the role” 
  • You thrive in ambiguous settings and help people make decisions  
  • Approachable and Collaborative with candidates and hiring partners
  • Can manage competing priorities
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Have experience driving world class candidate experiences
  • Bonus: Experience at marketplace or product led growth companies (extra plus++ if you've worked in the creator space)

The hourly rate for this role is $60-$65/ hour; you can expect to have 40 hours worth of work a week for a 60 day minimum commitment with the potential to extend or convert to FT. 

At Howl, we offer a competitive compensation package inclusive of base salary, incentive pay and stock options. Incentive awards are allocated based on individual performance. Certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
