Job Description

The Content Specialist provides critical marketing support across various functions within the marketing team including email marketing, content development, and marketing support. The candidate is a crucial part of the team, is self-motivated, highly organized, and has the ability to work independently. As a Content Specialist you will have strong writing and editing skills especially in the areas of social media, email marketing, and website content. We’re looking for someone who enjoys creating engaging, on-brand marketing content for a variety of channels and audiences and who will thrive working in a friendly, collaborative, and nurturing environment

This role will involve working closely and collaboratively with the Content Lead, the wider marketing team and other Welocalize stakeholders to ensure delivery of effective, on-brand content.

Role Summary

  • Copywriting for social media, email marketing, website copy, ads and marketing communications that are aligned with brand campaigns and sales initiatives
  • Peer review (proofing and editing) of communications used for marketing
  • Coordination of subject matter expert participation in posts and communications for internal and external audiences
  • Development of materials for printed collateral, including overviews and case studies
  • Development of blog content for all Welocalize branded blogs including case studies, interviews, articles, success stories etc
  • Client interviews and liaison for communications
  • Collaboration with design and sales teams to help develop supporting assets and ensuring consistent tone of voice across all channels
  • Contribution to content ideation for editorial and thought leadership content, including articles, white papers, e-books and playbooks
  • Execution of the public relations strategy for the company, including media relations and press releases
  • Definition and execution of internal communication updates and news
  • Management of tasks and projects within Asana

Key Competencies

  • Exceptional written communication, proofing and editing skills
  • Understanding of the latest trends in marketing and communications
  • Understanding of measuring and analyzing content performance
  • Flexible writing style, and the ability to work to brand guidelines
  • Strong eye for detail
  • Ability to work as part of a global and remote team and manage multiple projects and deadlines

Experience

  • 1-3 years’ experience in a marketing content role, preferably in-house
  • Native level of English
  • A proven ability to produce content and copy for digital platforms i.e., social media, websites, email
  • A demonstrated interest for writing and the creative ability to produce marketing content.
  • Experience creating copy for a range of platforms, including blogs, email campaigns, website copy etc
  • An English or related degree would be desirable

Other Required Skills

  • Experience using Asana or other project management tool
  • Excellent knowledge of Office365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Experience using Salesforce and Pardot
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics
