Content Marketing Manager

Ideagen is a SAAS organization experiencing tremendous growth in our US market and is expanding our Marketing team focusing on our EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) software product line. We are seeking a Content Marketing Manager to produce the storylines and content that raise Ideagen's profile as a go-to source of EHS expertise and best practice. The Content Marketing Manager will be a driven, self-starter with the ability to operate in an ambiguous environment experiencing significant growth. You will develop a cross-channel content plan that generates strong engagement and demand among clients, prospects, and influencers. This is a remote role in the US working cross functionally with team-members and partners across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create compelling marketing materials that resonate with EHS professionals and deliver measurable results.
  • Collaborate with demand generation and product marketing teams to create and produce attention-grabbing messages that boost campaign performance.
  • Manage, assign, and edit articles from a network of freelance writers, internal contributors, and other product experts.
  • Own the content marketing calendar and develop a regular publishing schedule for blogs, web copy, email, and social media that generates strong audience engagement.
  • Continually improve website and social channel performance, in partnership with digital and graphic design colleagues.
  • Increase customer loyalty by developing new industry resources with input from subject matter experts.
  • Create content briefs that establish clear guidelines for how subject matter experts and other stakeholders contribute to the content plan.
  • Maximize our audience reach by keeping current on EHS news and proactively adjusting editorial plans to cover emerging and high-profile topics.
  • Drive consistency on messaging and brand voice across Ideagen materials.
  • Spearhead content plans for thought leadership assets, including research reports, white papers, infographics, and video and podcast materials.

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, or similar role.
  • Strong writing skills with persuasive storytelling in both oral and written form.
  • Proven track record producing content that grows audiences and engagement in multiple venues, including email, web copy, blogs, eBooks, and reports.
  • Experience with Salesforce required (Pardot or similar systems a plus).
  • Self Starter with ability to operate and take action in an ambiguous environment.
  • Active reader, constantly on the lookout for new perspectives and contrarian views.
  • Meticulously organized and successful at maintaining cross-channel editorial calendars spanning multiple audiences and time frames.
  • Metrics-oriented, eager to tinker with formats and media to find the combinations that draw the largest sustained audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize information and arrive at a unique point of view.
  • Collaborative work style, working cross-functionally to produce on-time, on-target content that drives results.
