The ideal candidate is a talented content marketing manager experienced in inbound marketing strategies including webinars, editorial, email marketing and automation, social media, content distribution, audience engagement, and lead generation.
The Content Marketing Manager will work with content creators, brand and creative, and other functions within marketing such as growth, product, and events. This position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as sound leadership and decision-making abilities.
This is the role for you if you are a creative marketing professional with an audience-first mindset, preferably from a writing background, who is also comfortable with analytical thinking and displays excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You should be able to develop engaging content to attract and retain customers, and utilize analytics to track results and formulate multi-channel campaign strategies. For this position, it’s also essential to be up-to-date with the latest technologies and marketing trends.
The ideal candidate has a background running content marketing campaigns for fast-growing companies in B2B software, health IT, or a combination of both. They have used modern marketing automation tools and content management systems like HubSpot and CraftCMS, and can demonstrate that they understand how content works across channels and platforms.

What Success Looks Like
In 3 months
- Develop editorial and content calendars, and ensure deadlines are met in partnership with a team of in-house and freelance of writers, marketers, and content creators
- Implement digital content strategies and creative campaigns across all digital platforms, and drive traffic and engagement that translates to conversions and brand promotion
- Write, edit, and create content that motivates, inspires, educates, informs, and sells across a wide variety of digital platforms
In 6 months
- Perform content audits and pull reports to spot new opportunities, improve SEO and channel performance, and implement optimized content marketing strategies
- Orchestrate new content initiatives including webinar series, newsletters, social media strategies, multi-channel campaigns and more to generate demand and raise brand awareness
- Coordinate with internal and external SMEs to participate in content programs, and establish them as entertaining and engaging thought leaders on owned and earned channels
In 12 months
- Maintain and scale ongoing content marketing activities while establishing new content marketing programs
- Delegate responsibilities to a growing team to focus on creating more personalized campaigns for various audiences
- Build and optimize content marketing strategies across existing and new channels

- Managing a content/editorial calendar that includes articles, webinars, videos, and more across various channels and platforms
- Collaborating with writers, content creators, subject matter experts, and other marketing stakeholders to uphold deadlines
- Writing content briefs, outlines, and collateral
- Pulling reports and keeping track of content marketing efforts
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a marketing management role with a focus on content
- A passion for building, creating, and measuring impact of content pieces and programs
- Experience with marketing, project management, and content management tools (HubSpot, CraftCMS, Microsoft Office, Box, Asana preferred)
- Experience in B2B Software and/or HealthTech
- Strong verbal and written communication
