Cybrary is looking for a passionate, experienced adversary emulator to create a course aligned to the Mitre Attack Framework which shows how a particular Threat Actor might use the TTPs in the framework to execute an attack.
Short Description:
The objective of this course is to show how a threat actor leverages the various TTPs of the Miter ATTack Framework to execute an attack. The Adversary Emulator will work with a Blue Teamer in order to show both the Red and Blue team perspective. In other words: How to recognize these TTPs, how to use them for Red Teaming, and how to defend against them as a Blue Teamer.
Scope:
We expect this course update to contain about 4 hours of instructor content (written lessons, recorded lessons, and challenge questions), which we estimate to take about 20 hours of development time.
Level:
This course will be intermediate-level, geared toward SOC analysts and Red/Blue Teamers who are already familiar with network and cybersecurity topics.
As a training architect at Cybrary, you will create online training content which is available for learners to access and complete at their own pace. One of Cybrary's Course Managers will partner with you through the development process, support you with an eye for instructional design, and help you navigate and understand Cybrary's tooling. When creating a course, you are welcome to take advantage of our existing catalog of hands-on labs and practice tests to support your original content. Cybrary has a trusted vendor to help develop custom labs if needed, and a dedicated Creative team to support you with audio/video editing.
Requirements:
- Participation in a brief audition process, which allows our team to get to know your presentation style and confidence in speaking about technical topics. Audition samples include a 500-word essay and a 3-slide sample recorded lesson which should take you less than an hour to put together.
Nice-to-Haves:
- An offensive certification, such as CRTO, eCPTX, OSEP, etc.
- Technical content creation skills, such as video and audio recording and editing experience.
Deliverables:
- Collection of lessons aligned to Threat Actor (a.k.a. "Threat Actor Campaign")
– Campaign attack flow
– Offensive instructional content, including: written lesson content, "ride along" video, and flag-based challenge questions
Budget: $6,000.00
