About the position:
Sword is looking to hire Operations Manager of on-call, to join our team.
At Sword, we believe Education (combined with physical therapy, movement and behavioral health) is a key component of a holistic solution to solve healthcare’s largest problem: Pain. In our quest to develop a comprehensive solution to treat and prevent Pain, we launched The Academy last year: a product that seeks to deliver high-quality health education with the engaging capacity of Masterclass.
As the Head of Academy, you will be in charge of creating, managing, and delivering high-quality, engaging content that helps members understand their conditions, provides advice and guidance, and promotes overall well-being. You will define ‘The Academy’ product requirements and craft the roadmap to deliver such features to continuously improve the app experience.
Working in close relationship with the CEO team, you will build and lead a team across content creation, product and engineering, and work cross-functionally with multiple other functions such as Design, Product Marketing, and Clinical to ensure the best possible educational experience to Sword’s members.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own the Academy vertical, including product development, content creation, and distribution.
- Create and execute the content development and delivery strategy.
- Oversee the content creation from end-to-end, including script-writing, recruiting hosts for the series, filming, and editing of the content, using both internal and external experts and outsourcing capabilities as needed.
- Define ‘The Academy’ product strategy, product requirements and create a roadmap to continuously improve the app experience.
- Work closely with our Product Marketing function to craft the product positioning and strategy to drive member/customer acquisition.
- Partner with the clinical team to ensure content is accurate and evidence-based.
- Establish success metrics through analytics and member’s insights, and allocate resources to optimize performance and growth.
- Develop, lead, a and motivate a top-performer and outcome-driven team.
What you need to have:
- 3+ years of experience in a creative role, with a focus on engagement and product development.
- Proven ability to generate creative and innovative ideas to improve engagement, audience reach and product development.
- Strong grasp of consumer insights and a customer-centric mindset. Desire to understand the members’ motivations and key engagement drivers.
- Ability to thrive in a fluid environment and willingness to get hands dirty (previous Start-up experience is valued).
- Exceptional communicator and influencer. Should be able to lead a cross-functional, and to make sure our growth efforts are well executed.
- Can attract, manage and nurture great people, building the Academy team.
