The Marketing & Development Community Engagement Associate is responsible for helping SAR build strong, lasting partnerships with our community through special projects and events. This individual will play a role in supporting the school’s marketing initiatives and various programs and events for the purposes of building community and engaging SARs various community stakeholders, including prospective and current parents, parents of alumni, grandparents, donors, alumni, and donors.
Responsibilities include:
-Partnering in managing community database and relationships with our constituents
-Identifying, recruiting, and liaising with parent volunteers/committees
-Supportive event logistics management related to community programs including the Anniversary Dinner, Graduation, PA-hosted events, grandparent and alumni events
-Maintaining project timelines for events and ensure alignment between the events calendar and the annual content calendar
-Assisting in compiling and developing content to support collateral needs (i.e,. acknowledgement letters, event communications, reporting materials.)
-Creating content for grandparent/alumni newsletters, communications, social media. Depending on experience this role can be expanded to include schedule and content management
-Researching new opportunities related to security grants and other proposal opportunities.
Qualified candidates should possess:
-A bachelor’s degree
-Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time while maintaining focus, close attention to detail, and skill in prioritizing
-Superb interpersonal and relationship-building skills
-Ability to think creatively and collaboratively
-Comfortable working independently and being a self starter
-Excellent command of social media (i.e., Facebook, Twitter, blogs) Quick start to new technology platforms; writing skills across platforms
-An SAR or similar Jewish High School education is preferred.
Salary range: $60,000-$75,000 commensurate with experience
