Communications Specialist (Maternity leave replacement)

Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel

Minimum qualifications to apply for this role:

  • 1-3 years of experience in communications, public relations, or marketing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English
  • Experience working with U.S. small businesses or financial institutions and passion for Melio’s mission to Keep Small Businesses in Business
  • Flexible team player
  • Detail oriented, excellent project management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong cross-functional partnership and collaboration abilities

Preferred qualifications (If you have those, we see it as an advantage, but it's not a must)

  • Work closely with the social media team;  knowledge and familiarity with various social media channels is an advantage
  • Experience with managing press releases, including storytelling efforts and creative executions, pitches, data reports etc. is a huge advantage
  • Support the marketing team on various campaigns that highlight the small business community in various locations throughout the U.S. 

**This is a maternity leave replacement - 9 months**


How your day is going to look, what you will be doing? 

As a Communications Specialist, you will be joining our Growth team and contribute to our company’s success. Your mission will be to support cross-company efforts in developing and executing a comprehensive international communication program.

  • Support Communications with daily media monitoring and assist in fielding inquiries and requests 
  • Develop a wide range of communications materials including media trackers, one pagers, press page, industry reports and editorial calendars
  • Maintain databases of coverage, press activity, press targets and manage PR tracking and analytics
  • Assist in strategic planning and spearheading special projects
  • Conduct research relevant to the organization

 

 

About the team:

The Growth department is made up of 5 teams: Marketing, Performance, Content, Community and Communications.
As part of the team you’ll be a stakeholder in various tasks, including market research, competitive analysis, campaign execution, and content creation.
We work closely with Product teams, Marketing teams, Design, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that our products are positioned and marketed effectively.
We're the ones who make sure our product reaches new audiences and that users keep coming back.
