Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and Wolfram Language, is seeking a highly motivated Enterprise Account Executive to join its Commercial Sales department. You will be considered a primary contact at Wolfram, using your excellent presentation and interpersonal skills to work directly with companies and commercial business clients. A mix of technical and sales knowledge is required, as well as a love for cutting-edge technology. Our current commercial clientele includes Fortune 500 companies such as well-known names like Google, Apple, Intel, AMD and Franklin Templeton.
Responsibilities
- Using sales resources (LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, MarCom, etc.) to find contacts at target organizations to prospect to potential end users and decision makers
- Using the contacts to set up initial client calls to do a needs analysis with the customer and determine how our technology could be a good fit
- Setting up subsequent calls with the customers, leveraging internal experts based on their needs and the proposed solution
- Demoing the appropriate technology or reaching out to an internal expert for more customized demos
- Leveraging Technical Consulting or Wolfram Solutions to sell a custom solution to a customer that requires enterprise licensing to be delivered with the final solution
- Working with the Legal department to create and negotiate contracts with new customers
- Collaborating with other Enterprise Account Executives on best practices
- Maintaining and growing sales within key enterprise organizations with existing enterprise licensing
- Serving as the main point of contact to negotiate renewals and expansions to existing licensing
- Maintaining the SugarCRM pipeline of opportunities and accurately providing forecasting to sales management
- Serving as the primary contact at Wolfram for all inquiries by staff at those named organizations and ensuring timely and quality responses
- Responding to customer leads and using these conversations to develop opportunities, increase sales and grow usage
- Consistently creating sales-driven meetings with staff, purchasers and decision makers (i.e. directors and vice presidents) to drive revenue forward
- Outbounding to staff and researchers to incorporate our technology into their projects
- Serving as an expert on the assigned organizations and their structures, projects, needs, etc.
- Providing direction for internal teams to build opportunities through vertical and project marketing strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Background or interest in computer science, engineering, math, physics or a related technical or quantitative field is preferred
- Sales interest is required and experience is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- A strong work ethic and the ability to network
- Analytical and presentation skills
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving and negotiation skills
