Chip Designer Internship

We’re looking for an eager learner to share one of the most popular and rare technologies by International experts from Denmark, Germany but also local experts, like our Chief Innovation Officer!

The goal of this training is to dive deep into how modern technology computer systems are designed, seen from a low-level design perspective.

The technology is available worldwide, but now we as a company would like to build a team of highly skilled engineers with knowledge on the creation of digital systems using HDL (Hardware Description Language) on different types of silicon architectures like CPLD, FPGA and potentially on ASIC.

With the support of our colleagues and partners, we have crafted a fine-tuned roadmap that will unravel the secrets of specific skillsets and craftsmanship required to have a design and verification of HDL-based designs. The training will contain a lot of practical examples, projects, and hands-on experience in working with real FPGA and CPLD chipsets that will be configured to execute diverse types of data and signal processing.

The training is packed in a 3-month internship where you will learn the HDL-based designs that are highly used in one of the most popular industries(automotive, machine learning, and artificial intelligence)! After successful completion of the internship, there’s the opportunity for employment at IT Labs and hands-on work on a real international project!

Requirements

• Currently studying in the 3rd or 4th year of studies or finished your studies on FINKI or FEIT
• Successfully passed exams on Basics of Electronics course
• Successfully passed exams on Digital Circuits course
• Good understanding of Algorithms and data structures
• Basic understanding of Computer Systems and Architectures
• Basic understanding of Embedded Systems
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Availability to visit the Skopje office several times per month

It is nice to have but not mandatory:

• Successfully passed exams on Advanced Electronics course
• Basic understanding of HW configuration with VHD
• Basic knowledge in creation of electronics with digital circuit
• Basic knowledge of CPU/MCU architecture
• Basic development of SW using C or/and any assembly
