Chief Of Staff of the COO (6months temporary mission)

What you will do

 

Be the right hand of the VP Operations & Central Sales in their interactions with the Executive Leadership team (CEO and direct reports), with their Direct Reports and more generally inside & outside TheFork, incl:

-          Coordinate the key meetings and the subsequent follow up : Whether Management meetings or other key meetings in the company, you ensure that the meetings are well prepared. You are responsible for making sure that decisions are made & documented and that actions are implemented.

-          You manage the inbound communication triage, and directly manage or prepare the outbound communication for the Operations & Central Sales.

-          You coordinate and own the budget process for Operations & Central Sales, from monitoring to planning budget for 2024 (HC, Direct expenses, Real Estate and T&E)

-          When required, you will coordinate certain business strategic initiatives

-          You are the sounding board to the VP Operations & Central Sales: you act as strategic thought partner, person of trust and sounding board. You need to be comfortable telling the VP Operations & Central Sales when you disagree.

Be the key partner of the Operations, Central Sales & Payments Directors, incl:

-          You coordinate & lead weekly team meetings, 1:1 meetings and ad hoc meetings

-          You ensure an easy and timely preparation and access for the team to the key reports, also alerting to risks and opportunities and coordinating deep dives with the relevant stakeholders when necessary.

-          You manage communication within team and ensure that key messages are shared to all relevant stakeholders in the company

-          You facilitate the creation and documentation of key business initiatives when needed

 

Who you are:

- Master’s degree in economics + potentially MBA

- 8 -10 years of experience, with tenure in a strategic consulting role, and/or Chief of Staff (COS) role and or business management role

- A business consultant with business acumen, cross functional perspective & strategic thinking

- An analytical professional who’s comfortable with numbers & complex information

- A people person with interpersonal & diplomatic skills, who’s able to collaborate with and gains trust from management team members and who has excellent verbal & written communication skills

- A project manager who’s structured, well organized & detail & deadline oriented, who stays calm & flexible under time pressure & when changes occur & who solves problems

- Fluent English, is a must (and at minimum at least one other European language ie. Italian, Spanish, French...)

- Based in Barcelona
