We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Fz Sports, a company operating at the intersection of sports, technology and media, dedicated to transforming the sports rights industry by developing and implementing new technologies and innovative business models to maximize value creation for sports organizations, fans and brands.
Today Fz has tree business units:
- 1190 Sports, dedicated to working with sports organizations to maximize the value of their rights.
- Fanatiz, a digital platform that allows sports organizations to monetize and digitally interact with their fans.
- Nunchee, a B2B Saas service providing white label technology for streaming platforms.
They are currently in the process of growth and today they have a team of 80 professionals in 14 countries leaving everything on the field.

The challenge
You will be the star player contributing to from planning and strategy to financial, administrative and legal management. You will lead these areas and ensure the corporate development of the company, operational excellence, compliance with legal regulations and continuous process improvement.
Job Activities:
- Lead and develop three teams: Administration and Finance, Legal, and Corporate Development (currently 12 people). This includes the coordination and management of treasury, budgets, legal agreements, financial analysis, tax and accounting structures.
- Implement legal/financial strategies and standards for new businesses, contributing to the formulation of the business plan.
- Lead the financial and tax planning process for Fz Sports, its JVs and subsidiaries.
- Review and monitor KPIs, understanding the structure of economic reports in order to generate insights that have a positive impact on growth and continuous improvement.
- Prepare management plans and financial reports, providing timely information about the business (profitability, operating costs, analysis of income and expenses, etc.).
- Reporting to directors boards in different countries and participating in strategic discussions.
- Ensure compliance with legal and operational procedures in different jurisdictions.
- Manage relationships with the Finance area work team, managing OKRs compliance.
- Analyze and lead the development of M&A opportunities.
- Lead investor relations.
Requirements
Requirements:
- More than 10 years of experience in financial positions.
- More than 5 years of verifiable experience leading high performance teams and generating results: making things happen.
- Experience in financial management, legal and corporate development under different jurisdictions.
- Advanced/professional use of spanish and english language.
