SUMMARY
Performs complex social, therapeutic, and psychosocial intake services to individuals with severe mental illness and legal involvement from a person-centered, trauma informed perspective. Responsibilities include: providing psychotherapy (including CBT, CPT or TF-CBT) to individuals enrolled in The Living Room Program via group and individual services; psychosocial and diagnostic assessments as assigned; and provides crisis intervention and coordination of treatment as necessary. Provides screenings and recommendations and ensures communication/connection to appropriate treatment teams (internal and external). Develops individual treatment plans and recommends appropriate level of care. Completes detailed documentation in a timely manner on all services provided. Ensures services are provided within compliance of TAC, UM guidelines, and insurance plans. This position is grant funded and job description and salary are reliant on continued grant support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct intake assessments on individuals to determine clinical eligibility for mental health services.
Provide cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive process therapy and/or trauma informed CBT to authorized individuals according to the treatment plan.
Provide Crisis intervention services to individuals as necessary
Provide Psychiatric Rehabilitative Services (individual &/or groups) as described in the Texas Administrative Code. Services include:
Ensure direct service time/productivity standards are being met. Understands and works to meet all grant metrics and measures
Understands and implements trauma informed care practices.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
CBT, CPT, TF-CBT certification within 1 year of hire required

BENEFITS
Salary Range: Starting at $40,000-48,000 per year (Flexible and will depend on experience)
Shift Days/Hours: (Full-Time, Part-Time positions available. 12 hour shifts with different shift options)
