Campaign Analyst, Berlin. Expert Global Focus.

Founded in October 2014 in Berlin, JustWatch is currently the largest streaming guide in the world, available on web, mobile and TV.
In parallel with building our consumer apps, we’re also a data-driven marketing agency for the film industry. We run digital marketing campaigns for Hollywood’s latest blockbusters as well as for independent movies.

Are you a movie and TV show fan who is interested in the market research behind movie and tv show consumption? Assist our marketing team in predicting success by analyzing results from our campaigns that reach millions of movie fans worldwide. 

With substantial investment into marketing automation, machine learning, talent acquisition, and our own creative unit - it’s an opportunity to join now and help us build the most impactful market research standard for movies and tv shows globally.

What you will be doing

  • Developing a decision base for how to spend large media budgets for entertainment clients based on independent analysis of large data sets, including campaign performance
  • Translating the complexity of client campaigns into clear dashboards 
  • Research and develop targeted marketing campaigns and campaign strategies
  • Providing strategic feedback to optimize our campaigns on Google, Meta, Instagram, TikTok, and JustWatch, etc.
  • Communicate effectively across teams (Campaigns Team, BI and MarTech) to constantly evolve and adapt it to meet the entertainment market's rapidly changing needs
  • Providing qualitative and quantitative feedback to Marketing and BI teams

What you will need

  • Strong interest in the movie and TV show industry  
  • Expert knowledge in Tableau, power BI, Google Analytics, and similar tools.  
  • Analytical mindset that allows you to visualize patterns in complex datasets.
  • Great command of English. Any other language is a plus
  • Background in Quantitative Market Research, Analytics, Information Studies, Computer Science, and Performance at scale
  • Multiple years of experience in an analytics role in the field of marketing
  • And a “no bullshit” attitude
