POSITION MANDATE
Resonance is currently seeking applications from qualified candidates for an upcoming USAID-funded Agricultural Trade Activity in Georgia. The upcoming USAID Agricultural Trade activity aims to strengthen Georgia’s capacity to sustainability export to high value markets by (1) supporting export diversification through increased market linkages with non-malign markets; (2) strengthening local agricultural market systems in Georgia, including increasing the capacity of agricultural enterprises to comply with international standards; and (3) attracting new private investment into the sector.The activity will support growth within Georgia’s agriculture sector, provide high value employment, and support international commitments for climate change while through climate responsive ‘food-systems’. 

OUTCOMES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Resonance is currently seeking applications for professionals with experience and qualifications in the below areas of expertise for key roles on the project. Please indicate the area(s) of expertise for which you would like to apply in your application and reflect your qualifications in your CV:

·       Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL)
·       Grants Under Contract Management

·       Access to Financial Services
·       Private Sector Engagement (PSE) and Partnerships
·       Supply Chain Specialist

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience in one or more of the specified areas of expertise
  • Bachelors' degree or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience working with representatives from the public and private sectors, and with local organizations and stakeholders
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Professional working fluency in English and Georgian

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience working on USAID funded programming

TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS
The employee must be able to travel domestically  up to 30-50% for work assignments and depending on the role.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position operates in a professional office environment, and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

As a part of the responsibilities for this job, the employee is required to communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself, and exchange information orally and in writing with others. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position, sitting at a desk for prolonged periods, move or traverse inside the office and facilities; operate, activate, use, prepare, inspect, place, detect, or position computers and other office equipment, such as a calculator, copy machine, furniture, and computer printer. The employee must be able to make substantial repetitive motions of the wrists, hands and fingers.  The employee must be able to lift and move up to 15lbs at times.

WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE
Georgian work authorization required.

SALARY RANGE
Commensurate with experience.
