MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Nurture early-stage opportunities
● Lead outreach to defined prospect list and create your own leads from competitors
● Personalize communication to these leads. Comfortable with researching prospects and writing short, 5 bullet emails
● Perform cold call over the phone as needed
● Help our lead seller meet and exceed sales targets
● Build prospect lists, sales pipelines and research prospects to send a personalized note
● Follow up and build rapport with prospects
● Research what advertisers are running with our competitors
● Create or update customer records on the CRM system
● Identify key decision makers within new accounts
● Perform administrative duties, such as:
o Follow up on all client production orders and problem-solve any issues that may arise
o Maintaining organized and up-to-date records of clients and sales activity
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1+ year in a sales development/business development function or relevant work experience
- Prior experience in Business Development for Media (Preferred)
- Experience in using a CRM for managing customer/client information (Boostr)
- Background/knowledge on building proposals and insertion orders
- Experience in making oral presentations and clearly articulating product offerings
- Ability to meet a sales quota and utilize general sales techniques
- Resilience and creativity in response to rejection
