Business Development Manager

 

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is looking for a Business Development Manager out of our Savannah, GA office. 

We are seeking an industry experienced business development professional with direct selling experience in Higher Education, Life Sciences, or Healthcare industries who values building long-term, customer-intimate relationships with clients, to join our dynamic sales team.

 

Essential responsibilities and duties include:

  • Originate and close repeat and reoccurring new business.
  • Follow market and industry developments in an effort to network with like-minded companies
  • Network with similar-minded sales professionals to find referrals and introductions to prospective customers
  • Cold call new prospective companies that match our profile
  • Learn to sell all service lines offered by Triumvirate
  • Utilize Triumvirate's internal CRM system
  • Maintain a high level of sales activity in an assigned region
  • Attend industry trade expos & conventions and similar networking events
  • Utilize your experience with RCRA and OSHA regulations to develop rapport and trust with customers and prospects
  • Work towards becoming familiar with technical, customer service, and business components of environmental services
  • WOW! Triumvirate’s internal and external customers!

Required qualifications:

  • 3+ years previous sales experience, preferably within the Environmental Services industry
  • Experience selling services into the Industrial Manufacturing and/or Life Sciences markets
  • BS/BA in Business or Marketing; or a BS in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology or equivalent required
  • Familiarity with consultative sales techniques
  • Direct selling experience in Higher Education, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, or Healthcare industries
  • Basic knowledge of or desire to learn the environmental services field
  • Must be a self-starter, have a sense of urgency to close business, and a desire to constantly improve
  • Regional travel and overnights may be required
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle record
