The role:
- This is a unique and highly visible opportunity for a driven Business Development Executive.
- The core focus of this role is on identifying new growth markets/opportunities as well as maintaining, nurturing and growing existing accounts in Hong Kong (80/20 split in terms of prospection and account management).
- In this role you will work closely with our MD and consultants (Tech, Design, Agile and Data) to define the best solutions to pitch and win projects.
- Our preferred candidate is having an entrepreneurial mindset, creative, curious, highly collaborative (e.g. working with consultants on solutions) and detail oriented (e.g. contract details).
Responsibility:
- Learn, Own, drive and execute sales strategies to grow our digital and technology practice in Hong Kong.
- Prospecting (80%) and account management (20%)
- Identify key businesses in digital and non-digital sector.
- Win new projects and maintain/expand existing business accounts.
- Promote Palo IT as a partner of choice.
- Strengthen relationships with existing accounts.
- Closely work with our clients on various projects.
- Work closely with our consultants to build new consulting presentations, solutions and proposals according to market needs.
- Attend events to expand your network and promote PALO IT.
- Contribute to the internal Palo IT life (events, trainings…).
You have:
- Bring at 2-3 years of (service/solutions) sales experience, ideally within a digital/agile environment. (open for junior candidates)
- Have a sound understanding of the technology industry.
- Ability to effectively navigate client issues through to resolution, analyze clients' needs and identify creative solutions.
- Have a go-getter attitude, a passion for sales and a hunger to succeed.
- Have the ability to articulate and execute successful go-to-market strategies.
- Have a commercial background either in services/solutions, software, contracting, consulting, customer service or service delivery with a commercial mindset.
- Outstanding communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Fluent in English & Cantonese. Mandarin will be a plus.
- Hungry for knowledge and open for feedback.
- Be a team player, with a great sense of humor will be a plus.
