How you contribute
This role is a great opportunity for a strategic thinking Business Analyst with strong technical capability in process improvement experience. Working across the business, you will liaise with key stakeholders to document and improve our existing processes and systems, drive a great user experience and streamline repeat or low value tasks to achieve core business outcomes.
Here’s what we need
- Work closely with key stakeholders to identify high-impact business processes aligned to core business outcomes.
- Investigate, analyse and create graphical processes models for current and future state business processes.
- Work with stakeholders to optimise business processes; develop best practice tools to track progress of strategic projects and coordinate updates with leadership.
- Contribute significantly to the establishment of business process management standards and company risk management strategy.
- Identify alternative solutions to leverage new technologies and automation.
- Provide valuable insights in preparation for selection of and transition to ERP.
How you’ll succeed
- Strong demonstrated experience in delivering business benefits and value through business process optimisation, working closely with team and successfully implementing change.
- Strong demonstrated experience developing and graphically presenting business process models, including presenting gaps and solutions aligned to the broader business strategies, targets and budgets.
- Strong relationship building and influencing skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking to determine problems/opportunities/solutions, coupled with a results driven attitude.
- Demonstrated effectiveness at identifying and extracting requirements using a range of business analysis tools; such as interviews, document analysis, workshops and side by side observations.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively utilise end-to-end process design, process mapping, and other content development to translate complex business requirements into simplified processes.
- Identifying issues, risks and benefits of proposed solutions and outlining business impacts.
- Effective communication of insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Knowledgeable in business analysis methods, tools and techniques and able to select, adapt and adopt the most appropriate for the task at hand.
- Experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, BPMN (desirable).
- Experience in business process automation and selection of automation tools (desirable).
