We are currently recruiting for an experienced Brand Development Manager to join our team. As a Brand Development Manager, you will partner with some of the biggest fashion retailers on the High Street to maximise the commercial opportunities for our concessions business within our Hosts’ stores. You will work with well-known brands such as Next, River Island, Marks and Spencer and Matalan, to create bespoke jewellery and accessories ranges that delight their customer base while maximising sales for both parties. You will develop a strong, commercial , win – win relationship through really getting to know their business and challenging and developing how we currently trade to take advantage our unique market position and specialist jewellery knowledge. You’ll also play a critical role in creating jewellery edits and ranges plus managing the overall look and feel how our jewellery is merchandised within stores. The role includes negotiating cost prices which meet financial targets and market position, whilst ensuring all products meets the company’s quality standards and are globally compliant.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work with the Design, Product Buying and Merchandising team to ensure the range development meets all host strategy pillars from innovation to detail, margin to quality and sustainability.
  • Get to know the host customer base inside out. Spot trends and new product opportunities, acting quickly to challenge business to onboard products and get into store.
  • Effectively manages the critical path to manage all sales channels in partnership with Buying, Design and Merchandising. Effectively leads and manages the range sign off process with Heads of & Directors
  • Owns and drives the sales performance. Partners with key stakeholders within our host to review performance and drive new initiatives / trading opportunities to maximise sales and profit.
  • Work with Visual Merchandising to maximise the customer impact of our ranges and its commercial impact in store.
  • Leads the Assistant Buyers to manage the critical path to ensure all stages are managed effectively from concept to delivery into the DC.
