The Bilingual Human Resource Generalist (Contract) will be responsible for the execution of a full range of People and Culture initiatives in support of Numeris’ business strategy and objectives. They will support in fostering a high performance, collaborative and engaged culture that embraces diversity, equity and inclusion practices. A business support to leaders and employees, they will serve as an advisor on all employment related matters. 

What you will do

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and employees while guiding the execution of People and Culture programs, processes, strategic initiatives and communications 
  • Use analytics and qualitative/quantitative information, provides context and makes recommendations that support company objectives.  Interprets and advises on People and Culture policies to assist our business stakeholders in reaching solutions and managing associated risk.
  • Interpret and advises policies and procedures to ensure legislative compliance and mitigating business risk
  • Liaise with legal on employment matters and provides recommendations 
  • Support the Employee Experience/Engagement work, (e.g. Employee Engagement Initiatives, Numeris Community, P&C programs, Employee Engagement Surveys, Numeris Brand, Health & Wellness, DE&I) 
  • Support in content creation that drives employee engagement and builds our internal brand/culture. Develops, writes and edits content for internal communication vehicles, including portal, e-mail announcements, newsletters, meetings, and presentations.
  • Support in the management of tactical plans that align with our engagement strategy.
  • Collaborate with diverse key stakeholders and provide input, document/tactical requirements and support to the design and delivery of P&C programs
  • Partner with the members of the People & Culture leadership team, working cross functionally on various initiatives. 

What you have

  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role or capacity
  • Degree in Human Resource management and/or relevant experience
  • High sense of urgency and ability to multitask
  • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
  • Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to build strong trusted relationships with the business and internal teams
  • Strong knowledge of human resources Canadian laws 
  • Exceptional influencing skills and the ability to establish credibility and maintain relationships across the organization. 
  • Strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude
