As a team lead and first hire for Taiwan team, you will be responsible for back-end development for large scale high-quality websites and apps. Join them to work with their professional and creative teams to accomplish and share the success and growth of the company.
What You Will Do
- Creating large, scalable and transactional websites and applications
- Requirement analysis, design, coding, testing & implementation of software application
- Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferrable code
- Troubleshoot issues for production applications
- Manage a small team of developers to nurture continuous learning culture and keep improving the team
- Help strengthen our team by passing on your craftsmanship through close collaboration, knowledge shares, and mentorship
- Be innovative on creating outstanding websites and features
What You Will Need
- Degree or in Computer Science, IT, engineering or relevant fields of study
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in web development or backend development
- Fluency with one or more server-side languages, PHP or Node.js to develop websites, applications, and APIs
- Expert knowledge of Git and related branching strategies
- Familiarity with working in Linux and docker/container environments
- Solid grasp of the principles, patterns, and practice of software design
- Working knowledge of testing tools for load test and security testing
- Attentive to detail and committed to quality
- Clear and concise written and oral communication, both internally and with our clients
- Good organizational skills, problem solving ability, interpersonal/communication skills
- Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
