We are seeking an individual to join the Back Office team assisting in the onboarding/KYC process for new and existing customers and performing daily operational transactions (withdrawals/trade reconciliations, transaction monitoring, etc).
Alongside the day-to-day functions, you will be given exposure to all aspects of the Back Office to broaden your overall knowledge and experience.
To be successful in the role, you will be enthusiastic, flexible, and able to demonstrate initiative in a challenging and varied role.
Responsibilities:
- Verification of clients
- Request validate and approve documents as part of the KYC onboarding process
- Ensure the company's strong KYC and AML procedures are strictly followed
- Review screening alerts for Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), Sanctions, and Adverse Media in a timely and diligent manner
- Investigating and responding to AML and transaction monitoring alerts
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills in assessing risks of prospective clients
- Document authenticity verification using available software and provided training
- Identify and report fraudulent applications and reject those that do not meet the agreed assessment criteria
Requirements:
- Professional working experience in a financial institution e.g. Banking sector and Fintech is a must
- English language – B2+
- Arabic – B2+
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work a flexible shift schedule 8:00 am to 8:00 pm / 8:00 pm to 8:00 am
- Ability to work in a team in a very dynamic environment
