B2B Content Strategist | Remote

Beacon Digital is excited to bring a full-time Content Strategist into the Content Department! As part of the Content Team, you’ll lead the content strategy needs of the agency, including content planning, content reporting, writing and editing of long-form content pieces, and distribution of content across web and organic social media. 

We’re looking for someone with experience in B2B digital marketing and an interest in or previous experience working with innovative technology companies.

You’ll get the chance to

  • Develop and set the content strategy for B2B companies to help them achieve their marketing goals, including driving traffic and engagement, generating leads, and building thought leadership and brand awareness
  • Create editorial content calendars, develop detailed content briefs, and oversee content production, including blogs, white papers, ebooks, case studies, video, and more
  • Work closely with our SEO team to build content strategies rooted in keyword research and performance data and optimize content topics to drive organic search traffic
  • Regularly present content calendars and reporting and lead content strategy discussions with clients
  • Dig into content analytics to understand performance that shapes decision-making and strategy
  • Build relationships with thought leaders to gather knowledge of industry trends and inform content production 
  • Test and implement new types of content, distribution methods, and ways of measuring content performance to drive strong results
  • Manage digital and social content channels, including web and organic social media, with the understanding of the best content practices on each channel
  • Learn the ins and outs of innovative industries like fintech, regtech, cybersecurity, and B2B SaaS

  • Is captivated by both words and data — you are just as interested in producing a well-written article as measuring its performance
  • Brings enthusiasm and passion for digital marketing — you keep a pulse on new opportunities and trends
  • 3-5 years experience in content creation for digital
  • Wants to work with innovative B2B companies and startups
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or English preferred

Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year
