Associate Product Manager

Traveloka is a technology company based in Tangerang, Indonesia. We were founded in 2012 by ex-Silicon Valley engineers and we aim to revolutionize human mobility with technology. Today we are expanding our reach by operating in six countries and experimenting with new endeavors that will create a large impact in the markets and industries we touch.

At Traveloka, the Product Management role is at the heart of our company. We are looking for an Associate Product Manager who is passionate about driving innovation and helping to build a product that customers love! You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out the product that delivers the company’s vision and strategy. This role will be expected to independently handle multiple projects, work through large amounts of data, add structure to complex problem statements and manage multiple stakeholders at the same time while ensuring quality deliverables.

Our product management team comes from diverse backgrounds, and you will have the opportunity to learn the best practices from various product managers. What matters most are strong problem solving skills, communication skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn and grow together with the team.

 

Job Description

  • Take ownership & have a deep understanding of the user behavior and product behavior, as well as supply partners' systems and processes.
  • Responsible for end-to-end product development process (with mentorship from various product managers), starting from identifying the opportunities to address, defining the possible initiatives, and orchestrating the execution of initiatives with the team
  • Working together with technical, operations, and partnership team to ensure smooth integration between Traveloka and international partner systems
  • Assist in developing go-to-market strategy to help achieve the company’s objectives, liaising with other teams (Market Management, Operations, Product, Data, etc)
  • Assist in developing pricing strategy to help achieve the company’s objectives
  • Leading the resolution of any issues/problems to ensure system stability and operational metrics are met. This involves troubleshooting, finding & analyzing root causes, and implementing suitable solutions.

Requirement

  • At least 2 years of experience at top tier multinational companies, or a credible and strong track record in building or growing a business
  • At least Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Design, Actuarial, or other business and technical fields from top local or overseas universities with strong academic results
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong intuitions of user behaviors
  • A strong drive to make things happen, charisma, and ability to influence in a multicultural setting.
  • Able to read, write, and speak in English
  • Team player with proven abilities to navigate stakeholders to deliver outcomes
  • Passion in making the world better through technology
  • Prior experience in product management is not necessary, but will be a plus
