Energy Impact Partners is seeking an Associate for the Office of the CEO at EIP. This position will work directly with the CEO on all key operational, strategic, and business developments. This position will interact with various teams across the firm and have high visibility into the inner workings of a venture capital firm and its strategic initiatives. This position has high growth potential within the organization and reports to our Founder/ CEO. This position is in New York, NY.


Key areas of responsibility:

  • Shadow and support the CEO across multiple strategic organizational initiatives including:
    • Developing Fund strategies
    • Investment processes
    • Fundraising & Investor management
    • Marketing & business development
  • Develop key presentations for internal and external meetings with stakeholders (potential investors, internal leaders, current LPs)
  • Conduct data analysis on firm operational and investment data to drive insights and strategy
  • Ensures timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives for the CEO
  • Act as the liaison between CEO and other executives, clients, and stakeholders to ensure consistent communication and ensuring involvement or decision-making at the proper time
  • Manage and prioritize CEO’s time and schedule by collaborating with their Executive Assistant
  • Support the CEO in meetings by taking notes and assuming the responsibility of completing action items
  • Conduct independent research and create presentations on industry topics

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2-4 years of experience in management/ strategy consulting with knowledge in the utility/ energy space as a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated academic success (3.5+ GPA)
  • Strong Microsoft Office, Excel, and PPT skills
  • Disciplined project management experience with high attention to detail
  • Organized self-starter with driven attitude
  • The ability to work independently, effectively multi-task, and manage deadlines
  • Team player committed to making an impact and driving change in an organization
  • High EQ, personable and intuitive
