This position will play a key role in the bringing to life the creative strategy, and manage the creative process from concept to completion. The Associate Creative Director (ACD) will be responsible for solving creative challenges based on approved creative and communications strategies across all required channels. The ACD provides leadership to the Creative team.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating compelling creative campaigns for assigned clients.
- Leads and oversees an in-house creative team, and multiple freelancers to produce exceptional creative.
- Lead the messaging and visual expression of campaigns.
- Communicates and present creative verbally and visually to clients.
- Drives constant improvement to our creative quality and capabilities.
- Allocate the right creative resource to the right task to ensure optimum output.
- Works closely with the Studio Manager to projects are resourced and scheduled appropriately.
- Assures that all client presentations are on time, professional, engaging, persuasive, and supported by a sound rationale.
- Listens, asks, prioritizes, and translates brief objectives and information into strategic brand centric concepts and messaging.
- Acts as supervisor and mentor to Creative staff; identifies areas for development.
- Works directly with account management team on all projects to ensure that clients’ needs and creative goals are being met/exceeded.
Professional Skills & Requirements:
- 8 years of industry/agency experience.
- Strong design portfolio with a 4-year Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail is a must.
- Self-motivated, organized and accountable – able to excel in a virtual working environment.
- A solid understanding of multi-media creative disciplines.
- Passion for design and eagerness to mentor and elevate other creative people.
- Experience leading a team of designers, production specialists and writers to creative excellence.
- Well-developed communication skills including ability to articulate creative concepts and rationale to other team members and clients.
- An openness to try new things and push the creative envelope while maintaining the highest standards

As a senior leader, the ACD will work alongside our director client services (and account teams) during our planning phase. They will be responsible for understanding the strategic approach, and mapping out how to bring the plan to life through the right creative solutions (copy and art direction):
- Pressure test strategies from a creative KPI perspective (messaging, design, innovation)Understand various channel and how to use them properly to adapt and recommend messaging strategies at various touchpoint.
- Provide innovative thinking, show leadership in pushing the bar, bringing freshness to each program based on the learnings from past programs.
- Assist Account Teams with creative input and insights to help better sell in concepts and design throughout projects.
- Participate in post campaign reviews and provide input for creative and messaging development and evaluation against KPIs.
