Movement Labs is a movement incubator and the leading peer-to-peer text political consultancy supporting progressives and grassroots activists nationwide. Our clients span both establishment and movement efforts, from senior Democratic Congressional leadership to Black Lives Matter. Movement Labs has grown to over 40 full-time staff after being founded in 2018 and the CEO and founder is now facing a quickly growing array of new tasks and projects.
We're looking for you if: you’re quick, confident, and coachable. You're excited to very quickly learn a great deal about political technology and consulting. You’ve woken up the last few years with a burning desire to stop fascism. You are obsessively organized and during fast-paced meetings, you quickly take down notes on action items and decisions, flagging when more specificity is needed. You’re a fast study with new material and comfortable with Excel and Powerpoint. You’re efficient and happy getting any task done. You’re unrelentingly positive and hold those around you accountable for agreements. You're exceptionally precise and concise in written communication.
Scheduling is strategy, where the CEO's attention is focused in many ways determines the direction of our work. You’ll help organize the CEO’s time and help detail goals, to-do’s, scheduling and execute other administrative and coordinating work as needed.
