Assistant Brand Marketing Manager

As an Assistant Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for crafting and executing the brand marketing strategy based on the company’s growth plan in Malaysia. You will need to work closely with stakeholders from other departments (Sales, Operations, Finance etc.) to align on strategy and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Ninja Van’s brand and positioning in the market
  • Ensuring that all owned touchpoints are appropriately and sufficiently branded according to branding guidelines.
  • Being responsible for brand management and trademark identity
  • Panning and conducting suitable online and offline marketing campaigns with a budget
  • Oversee the creation and publication of all marketing material (POSM, leaflets, etc.) in line with marketing plans.
  • Take charge of shipper support and ensure timely responses to customer queries and feedback

Requirements

  • At least a bachelor degree in Marketing or similar
  • At least 5-6 years of brand marketing experience 
  • Self-starter with good initiative, and persistence to see us through this challenge
  • Interest in e-commerce, high growth startup
  • Experience with brand health tracker tools
  • Excellent communicator (both written & verbal) and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions
  • Critical thinking, good presentation skills
  • Proficient in both written and spoken in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Can-do attitude, not scared of getting your hands dirty
  • Ability to work independently as well as lead the team to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment
  • Strong sense of ownership 
  • Accurate and reliable, has strong analytical base, a solid commercial acumen and product insights understanding
