About this team

The Agile Project Manager will play a key role on our Mobile App Technology team. This position will work extensively with business units, project stakeholders, and cross-functional technology team members (both internal and external vendors) to define, implement, sustain and leverage our data ecosystem across our programs.   

We are looking for a passionate, high-energy individual who is excited about delivering exciting capabilities, leveraging the best-in-class industry proven solutions. This individual must have a track record of working in a collaborative environment, managing multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment and should take pride in evolving the entire organization to create the future technology platform for growth. This person should have experience in retail and a background in project management on app technology stacks.

A day in the life

  • Plan, manage, and monitor large projects with complex scope, multiple workstreams and interdependencies. 
  • Drive work to completion and effectively manage and report on scope, risks and issues and timelines 
  • Develop relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and cross functional teams to ensure solutions meet timeline and business objectives.  
  • Ensure all project / program tasks are clearly understood, assigned and tracked. 
  • Own and track capacity planning and velocity for the team, responsible for successfully delivering all committed deliverables within the sprint 
  • Own all agile ceremonies and artifacts belonging to the PM role based on RACI established and aligned with product management team 
  • Report on progress for quarterly committed initiatives 
  • Partner with BA and product managers to ensure requirements are complete for delivery team to do their work 
  • Drive conversations amongst engineering teams to ease conflict resolution or lift dependencies and blockers 
Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate will have a B.S. degree in IT, Project/Program Management, Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent 
  • At least 5+ years’ experience in a project management role in app-specific projects
  • Technical in depth knowledge and proven record on delivering complex projects  
  • Experience working in a project/product matrixed organization with a proven ability to meet deadlines and operating under tight time constraints with a strong sense of urgency 
  • PMP/SM certification considered an asset. 
  • Proficient with Confluence and JIRA, managing scrum boards, creating and navigating technical tickets and documentation 
  • Demonstrated ability to build constructive business and IT relationships and gain the trust of others in a cross-functional environment. 
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, negotiation and presentation.  Must be able to communicate technical and project management concepts in business-oriented terms. 
  • Experience leading agile teams and Agile sprint ceremonies is desired.

We are committed to equitable and fair pay practices. For this role, the base salary pay range is $70,000 - $120,000. We consider a variety of factors when making compensation decisions and generally do not hire employees at the highest point of the pay range. We share this to ensure transparency, expectation-setting and education for candidates considering opportunities with us.
