We know that creating an inclusive environment that values and encourages different perspectives is critical for our success, and the success of our people. We are learning, listening and taking action to be better and foster trust in our community. Our goal is to ensure every person working at Foundry feels safe and free to be themselves, to share their ideas or concerns and that there is equal access to opportunities for all.

THE ROLE.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the Agile Delivery team. Reporting to the Head of Agile Delivery, you’ll be responsible and instrumental in helping achieve the organization’s goals to continuously improve agility.

In this role, you will work closely with our Platform Team, which is comprised of various subteams responsible for providing DevOps, engineering ops, and shared/core software components to our product development teams.

Along with the Head of Agile Delivery, you will support the Senior Director of Engineering and the Lead Engineers and Architects on these teams as they provide engineering support and collaborate on various internal projects.

You will work closely with these teams and their engineering leaders to identify current trends, improve processes, and curate meaningful reports to aid decision making. The ultimate goals are to improve collaboration between our Platform and product teams and to ensure key technologies and important engineering support is delivered effectively and efficiently while still maintaining great employee engagement. To do this, you’ll leverage your knowledge of agile working methods such as Scrum/Kanban, project management more broadly, and Software Development Lifecycles.

You will ensure clarity on the scope and priority of deliverables within the program, with the availability of realistic delivery plans, tracking, and reporting of deliverables by visually representing data to engineering and product leadership. You will proactively help with the successful delivery of deliverables on time and meet business objectives, maintaining delivery momentum, and actively addressing/flagging the risks and issues. You will also help manage dependencies and shared work streams across multiple agile teams

Finally, you will maintain an excellent overview of the product roadmap and delivery by actively listening, asking good questions, focusing on the details and the big picture, and providing updates on sprints, key features, releases and their timelines, people, top issues, and risks.
