Vendr is seeking a Accounting Manager with a primary focus on accounting and financial reporting activities. The Accounting Manager will be an integral partner for the company’s Accounting team providing both analysis and operational insight, while introducing task-related efficiencies which will have a direct contribution to Vendr’s growth and success.
You Will:
- Manage the month-end close processes including preparing journal entries and supporting reconciliations
- Perform monthly analytics to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial statements including reconciling, researching and resolving discrepancies
- Own the documentation of accounting policies and procedures that ensure all financial transactions are executed according to GAAP principles
- Help lead the implementation of best practices to simplify, standardize and scale our business
- Work cross-functionally to prepare closing entries and to anticipate changes to processes
- Management of AP, Accruals, Fixed Assets, and Payroll
- Assistance with annual year end audit and annual tax filings
- Inter-company accounting and transfer pricing
You Have:
- 6-8 years or more of related experience
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Bachelors’ degree in Accounting
- Background in SaaS
- Clear, collaborative, and effective communication with cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to simultaneously manage several project
It is a plus if you have:
- Certified Public Accountant designation
- Experience with Sage Intacct, Bill.com, and Rippling
