Our team is looking for an Account Manager to help build exceptional experiences for a community that expects nothing less. You will manage all Karat Books accounts and will be the primary point of contact for creators during the entire account lifecycle including setup, onboarding, and offboarding. This role will be critical in helping us continue to scale our product offerings and create a seamless onboarding experience for our creators.
**This is a full-time temporary role until June 2023, benefits are not included at this time.**
Life as an Account Manager at Karat:
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and issues simultaneously while responding in a timely manner.
- Monitor and update account statuses to ensure all accounts are up to date.
- Communicate with creators to obtain confidential financial documents associated with their products and services.
- Partner with the Tax and Bookkeeping team ensuring all tax documents are in order.
- Attend client meetings and lead onboarding client calls to set clear expectations.
- Lead offboarding calls, develop a deep understanding of their needs, and provide solutions to save their contract.
- Be an expert resource on Karat’s current and future offerings and have an understanding of the creator economy and the unique challenges they face.
What You'll Need:
- 2+ years of strong account and/or program management skills and experience working with multiple accounts concurrently with exceptional attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Passion for customers and ability to create a phenomenal client experience.
- Proven experience in prioritizing competing demands in a fast-paced environment where things can change quickly
- Proficient in Excel, Asana, Salesforce, Canopy, and QuickBooks.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of fundamental basic accounting principles or previous accounting firm experience is a huge plus.
- Ability to understand and ask clients for important financial information.
The salary range for this role is between $80,000-$95,000k annual base.
