Creating a Research and Analysis Hub (RA Hub) to support Research & media monitoring
Successful candidates will be part of a global team to help develop and grow a Research and Analysis Hub (RA Hub) to support basic research and media monitoring activities across the firm.

Opportunity

Senior/Junior Researcher (Associate/AD – depending on experience)

The Role/ Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of research and digital/social media techniques; adopts a curious mindset, scoping briefs thoroughly and iterating work as appropriate.

  • Devising, conducting and presenting high quality, thorough and thoughtful research and where appropriate innovating new ideas and approaches (using a wide range of tools including Reuters, Bloomberg, Spredfast, Signal, Factiva and other specialist sources).

  • Providing concise and compelling outputs, succinctly drawing out and articulating key messages and themes.

  • Disseminating and bringing to life findings through a range of formats including reports and briefings.

  • Proactively scan and analyse sector news and key developments; share key research and analysis insights with colleagues through daily, weekly and monthly sector and client briefs/updates.

  • Shows a very good understanding of data and statistics, including corporate, financial and macro-economic indicators and concepts.

  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of research resources and tools; advises colleagues and requesters on availability, usage, copyright issues and source attribution.

  • Participates in internal efforts and works with external vendors to improve the way we use information, tools and technology.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 3+ years working in a research role

  • Demonstrates strong curiosity and awareness of current and relevant global issues and horizon trends (incl. how these may impact clients), sharing appropriately. Works closely with global colleagues to bring new ideas and approach.

  • Works/builds relationships with client teams across the firm as appropriate, anticipating and understanding requester needs, maximising efficiencies and adding value wherever possible.

  • Experience working within service centre style environment. Demonstrates good project management skills, prioritizing and responding to requests on a timely basis; keeps colleagues and requesters informed of project status and provides briefings to colleagues as needed.

  • Adept at navigating and succeeding within high-performance, entrepreneurial environments

  • Actively seeks out learning and growth opportunities.

  • Treats everyone with respect and strives to be inclusive.

  • Excellent communicator with professional polish and strong emotional intelligence

  • Entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit. A dynamic self-starter with a strong work ethic.
