Qualitest is seeking a Software Architect to join our growing team for a remote position in the US.
Responsibilities:
Design and documentation of architectural aspects for Microservices.
Help teams across projects in system design using modern technologies with a core focus on reusability, scalability, and performance at scale.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering stakeholders to design and build platform services that meet key product and infrastructure requirements.
Envision the optimal design solution for the problem in hand with an understanding of architectural future state.
Advocate best practices and provide consultation to leverage patterns.
Drive solution and tool decisions by articulating pros and cons for buy vs build.
Support engineers to build necessary services to enable rapid development for product teams.
Design Microservices with well-defined APIs.
Clearly communicate architectural decisions, roadblocks and timelines to key stakeholders.
Continuously learn and be at the leading edge of industry’s best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experienced with Cloud-native solutions - Azure, AWS etc.
- Experience in Java, Micronaut, Kubernetes, Redis, Postgres etc.
- Well versed with Domain Driven Design, Microservices, Integration Patterns etc.
- Strong experience with designing REST APIs.
- Sound understanding of common cross cutting concerns like Logging, Telemetry, Configuration etc.
- Experienced in collaborating with DevOps Teams
- PST Work Hours Required
