ARSIEM is looking for a System Administrator. This position will support one of our Government clients in Laurel, MD.
Responsibilities
- Provide system administration support on Linux-based systems.
- Support a team of 9 developers by ensuring that the servers are compliant with customer standards.
- Install patches, track compliance notifications and help with the security plan updates.
- Add new servers as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate shall have a minimum of 4 to 8 years of general experience as a systems analyst.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science may be substituted for four years of general experience as a systems analyst.
Required Qualifications
- Must have Linux systems administration experience, using a variety of versions (old and new).
- Knowledge of computer operating systems, hardware, and software.
- Demonstrated experience with standard admin support (create/manage accounts, version upgrades, IAVA patches, etc)
- Knowledge of security hardening procedures for Linux
- Experience with VM environments of various operating systems with tool augmentation
Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
